A must visit in port douglas. Great staff who are there to help you. Amazing sunset location. The pictures speak for themselves..and most importantly..amazing beer! The ginger beer was so nice after a day on the reef served with fresh lime and mint!!

A fantastic outdoor/indoor bar. Food, entertainment, right by the marina, the atmosphere can’t be beat. It’s not just a brewery either, 18 different gins, cocktails, wines and other spirits. We went on a chill Friday night with a band for entertainment and enough of a crowd to make a great night without the overcrowding. Bar staff were very friendly and explained what was on our beer tasting paddle and our gin tasting paddle. Would definitely recommend.

So, it's got a great location. And, the Pitchfork Betty was a decent beer. I asked them to make the tacos without sour cream. Not to replace it with something, just not put it on. Because, I'm lactose intolerant. They said that was impossible. Couldn't be done. No way to do this. I asked if this meant they were prepackaged. He said no. So asked if that meant that someone was making tacos step by step, and one step included putting sour cream on it. He said yes. I asked him then why it was impossible to simply stop right before that last step, and prepare my tacos dairy free. He said he knows, but couldn't help. Couldn't? Didn't want to? Tough to say. I asked him if he agreed this was ridiculous. He nodded. I asked him, can you say this is ridiculous at least? He wouldn't even help me with that. I ate somewhere else. Lots of other places at the marina. Go there instead.

We drove to Port Douglas just to visit Hemingway's and we weren't disappointed. Food was great, staff were fantastic and beer was a bonus. We visited Hemingway's twice in one day and both times were top notch. Keep up the great work guys, look forward to you opening up in Cairns :-))

I tried the beer sampler and all.of them were delicious, not a bad one in the lot. The pork tacos and fresh caught fish of the day (I got rock cod) were outstanding. In fact, my brother described the pork tacos as the best tacos he's ever eaten. The service was great as well.
