Unreal location, my partner and I watched the sunset from the outside picnic tables and wow what a beautiful place. The beers were delicious as well. We shared a tasting paddle and the bartenders were very knowledgeable about the beers. They were incredibly helpful in finding us some great brews. Staff very friendly and outgoing. Definitely will be coming back next time we’re in Port Douglas.
Hemingways had a nice atmosphere and positioned in one of the best spots in the marina.nnThe beers were ok but slightly overpriced and I didn't enjoy them as much as I'd hoped. Food was good but limited service as we were outside of their main meal times which again. Was a bit disappointing.nnIt's worth a visit and staff were welcoming.
A top spot to watch the sunset on the verandah, enjoy a beer tower, cocktails and some great food, a must stop after exploring the Daintree. Stop here, we loved it.
Enjoy a local brew accessible waterfront dining and drinks at its best.nThe pizza is great for a dinner with the family or when you are having a party. Waterfront view overlooking boats and distant mountains with a beautiful yellow setting sun. Friendly staff willing to help with carrying food to table as it is a get-it-yourself restaurant. The pilsner and hazy ale suit the warmer weather and it is interesting watching the boats come in after a day out in the Coral Sea.
Hemingway's Brewery is a great place to relax on a sunny day.nYou can never get tired of the view of the Port Douglas Marina.nWe have visited here many times over the years. We generally come here for a late breakfast or early lunch.nThey have a very big outdoor eating area with most tables under cover.nThe staff are friendly and the food is very good and reasonably priced. The atmosphere is always good with popular Australian music as the usual acoustic backdrop.nWe have tried many of the Hemingway's beers. Pitchfork Betty's remains a firm favourite.nThere's not a great deal of shops down at the Marina these days. However, this brewery is an asset to the area.nHere are a few photos from some recent visits.
