The walk itself is actually pretty tricky (not because it's tiring but obviously because of its volcanic presence. The ground is very uneven so make sure you where the right foot gear. The actual walk itself is pretty boring but the views from the top are completely worth it. I would definitely recommend visiting the lava caves, it's a short trip but it's really cool being able to walk through the pitch black caves (if you're not too claustrophobic). Ferry is very reasonably priced to!
