What an awesome park! I love that the city took an unused industrial area and turned it into a recreational park. Remnants of the land’s former life create such a funky backdrop. Amenities include playgrounds, basketball courts, and a unique observation tower. Excellent park!
My first time to visit Silo Park to participate in Africa Day celebration.nnIt was great to be able to park nearby and have a short walk to the park.nnThe park was a great venue to host Africa Fay and have a stage and runway for the catwalk of the models.nThe crowd was very supportive and there were also several benches to sit on when getting tired.nIt was a great fun day.nnI loved the various different features around the park and the walk way with various choices of restaurants to choose from.nnAlso, the toilets close by are well maintained and clean.nnIt was a great enjoyable day there.
A very cool hang out place for the little ones and families. There is a carpark by jelliceo St. We are were happy that the first hour was free on the 31 Dec 2025 night from 8.45-9.45pm ... Just scan the QR code. Lovely view of the Auckland harbour. Wanted to see the vector lights. As it was summer the lights were only on after dark. Was grateful that everyone was sober and a very hustle and bustle feeling.
If you are looking for a way to ensure your children actually sleep through the night, this is the place to be. The combination of the playground and the skatepark makes for a very efficient energy-burning circuit. It is a well-maintained space that feels welcoming and safe for everyone involved. Auckland has plenty of parks, but the layout here makes it much easier to keep an eye on things while enjoying the fresh air.
Very pleasant place with a modern vibe. Seemed very relaxed and a great park for the kids and places to eat. We went in the evening and was worth the walk.
