Unfortunately the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on. The height difference of the two mattresses that were pushed together was so bad, we could feel the springs bouncing through anytime we moved , it was awful and i woke up with a sore back which is not a regular thing for me . The shower had a body wash device attached to wall which was completely empty , the water pressure was non existent and the exhaust fan didn't work. The blanket had multiple stains as well one or two stains wouldn't bother me but there was many for almost $300 for a single room for one night midweek it was not worth it at all in my opinion especially as parking overnight is another $40 on top. Unfortunately i would not recommend this place.nPositive - the location
Stayed 2 nights in a studio room for a work trip. Location wise was great very close to shops restaurant and my office. Rooms were clean although I found 2 small ants in the bathroom sink on 2 different nights. Size of room was good for max 2 people. I stayed on floor 6 facing the front street Ramsgate so had a bit of a view. The birds would wake you up at 5ish though which was great didn't require an alarm. Overall was a good quiet stay. Loved how we can open the windows which was a plus! The building was nice and warm. I have to mention the charge back though as on the sheet you had Woolworths but they don't do charge back to Quest so I think you need to remove that.
Family friendly. Accepts dogs but not cats. Near a lot of cafe’s, restaurants and general eating dietary choices.
Blue Stone property management regarding the unjust charges and handling of our lease termination at 41 / unit 205A Ramsgate Street Kelvin Grove. Despite our efforts to comply with the lease terms and address any concerns, we have been subjected to unfair treatment and unauthorized charges.nnOur lease agreement was set to expire on the 30th of May, but we vacated the premises early on the 25th after arranging a professional cleaning crew to do a bond cleaning for us and returned the keys to facilitate an early inspection. Unfortunately, we did not receive the inspection report until the 30th. Upon receiving the report, we promptly arranged our own cleaning crews to come in again to address the stated issues. Despite this, The Quest apartment and Blue Stone property management hired their own cleaners the next day without our consent and charged us for the service for a total of AUD$856.85. The issues addressed were typical wear and tear, particularly concerning the stovetop as I cook on a daily basis which caused slight scratches that is easily removable by polishing the stove.nnFurthermore, an issue with a wall incurred minor damage due to our table leaning against it. We believe this damage also falls under normal wear and tear. We initiated the repair process and requested the paint colour code to ensure a proper match for repainting. Despite our proactive steps, The Quest apartment and Blue Stone property management engaged their contractors and imposed an excessive fee of AUD$226.85. This treatment feels exploitative and unfair.nnFrom the time we received their initial inspection report and we replied to them as soon as we saw the email within the same day informing them we would arrange a second clean with our cleaning crew as per their instructions and also asked for the wall colour to have that repainted, they ignored that email yet sent us a second email that next day demanding us to pay the extra cleaning charges of $856.85 within 3 days or they will deduct from our bond.
Friendly and helpful staff.nI felt secured during my 2yrs of stay in Quest Kelvin Grove.nEveryday felt like a holiday.
