Trilogy Residences

What an amazing experience for a young family holiday. The location was perfect within walking distance to the cbd and many public transport options. The facilities were clean and well maintained. Free car parking for our whole stay, but the thing that will bring me back the above and beyond customer service, any questions or problems we had the trilogy team went out of their way to help us. Definitely recommend the trilogy residence.

Great location and apartments. I stayed 2 months short term in 2 bed 2 bath. On site management team professional. Yes occasionally Friday night was a bit noisy outside. But overall great short term accommodation in convenient location.

Partying neighbours wake us up every weekend. We are long term tenants here and moved into a unit facing the pool in September 2016 - which was one of the worst decisions we ever made. Noise issues are managed poorly. As per body corporate rules, three warnings are issued before partying tenants get a breach notice (this is NOT australian standard) which basically means that they can party all night for four weekends in a row, then have to be quiet for one weekend only and then the party can start again... now imagine this happening in several units surrounding you. It's a nightmare. I am counting down the days until we can move out. A lot of families have already left.

stayed here for a girls weekend. A used unsealed sharps container fell down and hit my friend when she was grabbing a bowl down from a cupboard in the kitchen. patio and kitchen benches were filthy, dirty cutlery and cups, rude incompetent staff & manager. refused refund or change of rooms. NEVER STAY HERE!!!!!

We have lived in this complex for over 3.5 years, initially in an apartment facing the street (avoid Boundary St. apartments, extremely noisy street) and then facing Hope St (quieter, but garbage disposal daily between 4-6 a.m.). The last 10 months we transferred into a larger unit because we had a baby(facing the pool). We had specifically asked for a quiet unit. Unfortunately, these last 10 months have been hell on earth. It is an older complex and apparently the management's strategy for ceasing demand is to allow rowdy "students" to rent many of those units. Usually 4 occupy the 2 bedroom apartments and Fri-Sun days/nights are unbearable. Loud noise during the day and partying until late at night; the building management does not deal with complaints appropriately and is not available during the night (which is standard in other complexes). Their advice to call the police is useless, because they never showed up (priority for noise complaints is very low, especially on weekends; I waited for hours several times). Even during the weeks there is lot of drinking and partying on the balconies that surround us, in the neighboring complex and also the nearby Oxygen complex (at least there is a hotline that can be called and the onsite manager has been very helpful). Numerous of the Trilogy units are rented out via AirBNB. Therefore, a lot of people stay only for a few nights and come back home from partying in the city between 2-5 a.m. Basically impossible to get some sleep on weekends. During summer months, the pool is wonderful but a lot of people are using it and they are typically quite rowdy and frequently disregard the pool rules (i.e. play loud music, lots of yelling, drink and smoke in the pool etc). Between 5-8 p.m., parents "tire out" their children in the pool and on the grassy area by encouraging their kids to do whatever makes them sleepy so that the parents can get some well deserved sleep afterwards. Imagine coming home from a long day at work during this time... I strongly recommend staying away from this complex. Unfortunately, we signed a 12 month lease and were stuck there (no way to get out of it because of Qld tennancy rules). I am counting the days until we can get out of this miserable place.
