Only issue I had was the receptionist wasn’t at the front desk when people arrived at 2pm on the 3rd of March. We were all standing around for maybe 10 minutes before we got in the actual hotel, then another 10 before she came back to the front counter. Besides that, I thoroughly ENJOYED every single second on my stay. I loved my room, it was clean and lovely! I’ll most definitely be back.

Ground floor unit was putrid and smelly ! Security doors had broken locks so didn't sleep well when your got kids ! Bus interchange outside bedroom window. Veranda was disgusting . Curtains had fluid stains all over them and smelt really bad. Windows were putrid . Carpet smelt old and musty . Old and tired looking room and the worst I've ever stayed in . To top it off they demanded a 100 deposit on a saturday afternoon before we arrived but  then we had to call and follow up to get it returned a week later which appears common in their reviews ! . Carpark extra . Fans in room had no controllers so useless and couldn't get aircon working as remote seemed flat or broken ! Photos on website were heavily photoshopped as our room looked nothing like advertised !!!

As a travel agent I should have known better before booking without checking reviews. Absolutely appalling apartment and the customer service is even worse. I have left 6 messages and 3 emails about a particular issue and not one acknowledgement. I would highly recommend putting your money into another hotel/ apartment accommodation. Just avoid at all costs. I really mean AVOID!

I'm rating this based on it being a residential complex where I've lived for over 10 years. It's got a great community living there, both owner occupiers and long term tenants. It's a fantastic location, close to Brisbane City, Fortitude Valley, New Farm, Brisbane River boardwalk and Victoria Park. People looking at the low reviews should keep in mind that these reviews are predominantly based on their experience staying at Cathedral Place overnight or short term and may be more reflective of the management of the short term letting. It's not a hotel.

Awful management. Refused to fix a toilet that was broke upon moving in for 2 years and when went to break lease they claimed it was tenant damage. Do not rent or holiday here
