I didn't like that we had no instructions on the fact that you have to lock the lock was inside out, you pay 50c for toilet paper even though that should be included in the payment and shouldn't cost anything. I've been to many hotels and this one is the only one I know that does as well as you don't get any service to the room you have to basically do everything and there's no fan in the bathroom. If you go in summer I don't suggest going here. The bed was very uncomfortable and the bathroom is extremely tight. Not much space at all. If you want things cleaned they don't do room service each day like other hotels either. And they close at 1pm. We won't be in Brisbane for a few years now but when we do I think we may go somewhere else. The place is decent and does what is necessary but very average. Tv isn't modern to so no YouTube or Netflix if your expecting it. Rooms: Bed sheets don't get clean till you leave Noteworthy details: Lock from insider 50c for toilet paper Not everyday's Room service
The apartment is spacious but there are significant concerns about hygiene and it’s features: - there are plenty of cockroaches and we had to get a surface spray to address the problem ourselves - the joinery looks tired and old - the bathroom cold tap does not work properly, the water comes and goes - the mattress is uncomfortable - when the customer service personnel was informed about the cockroach issues, he remarked the room was newly renovated/upgraded. I was most surprised by his remarks as the apartment has water stained marks on the floor boards, the bathroom is grotty and the joinery is old with the surface peeling. - throughout the 6 days of stay, there is no room service to change linen or towels. $140/night for a room of this quality may not be reasonable. The apartments are clean and comfortable - the bathroom could use a refresh and was a bit tight. Service was ok - One little square face towel given not even a proper hand towel in the bathroom. No paper towels / kleenex box to wipe surfaces in the kitchen. I had to call and ask for housekeeping and the reception didn't seem too keen on offering that. Good location and decent price for the apartment size and cleanliness but don't think it's a four-star around 3 or 3.5
Stayed for a family holiday. Basic but decent apartment. A bit tired inside. Could do with some love and it could be excellent. Bathrooms need a facelift. Friendly staff in the reception. Excellent location to the city.Rooms: 3/5
Forget about the WIFI. It’s free because it’s non-existent and NEVER WORKS. Reception will tell you to ring the provider Freedom I think who will give you the run around with “I’ll reconfigure the router and open some ports etc” or a call back system where they don’t call you back but send you a text a few hours later saying: “Hi. Thank you for contacting the Freedom Internet support line. We are sorry if we were unable to attend to your concern at the time of your call due to high call volume. Please contact us again if you still need assistance. “ If you need wifi stay somewhere else. Otherwise, you’ll find this a reasonable place to stay although a bit tired in places a lot of bits are a bit old and tired e.g. bathtub, old bed sheets etc but for the price compared to others around the CBD it’s not bad price wise. Would suggest the owners of this establishment either get a better internet provider or remove Wi-Fi from the sales pitch.
Great location, easy booking. Manager was friendly and great to deal with. Fantastic communication. Simple and fast check in. Car park easy to enter and exit. Room is a little dated but still very functional and comfortable. There is a Woollies supermarket across the road and other services nearby. Easy walk to the CBD for more shopping and river access. Recommend highly.
I enjoyed staying here. My room was nice considering what i paid for it. The only criticism I have is with the general cleanliness of the Room, however even this wasn't bad enough to warrant the removal of another star. Overall a wonderful stay and in such close proximity to some great sights and restaurants
Had a wonderful 2 days at Frisco apartments. Great to have a secured parking space in the heart of Brisbane. We had room 601 which was very nice with a big balcony. Walking distance to the heart of the city, and other attractions close by. Will definitely stay here again next time we are in Brisbane.
Bathrooms are old , dirty and mouldy, the cleaner needs to bend the back and clean the bottom tiles also needs to close the internal sliding door in bathroom and clean the back of it as is disgusting. There is fixtures missing on the taps which won't shut off properly. The lounge has stains all over it and the floor in kitchen needs attention where someone has obviously burnt it or spilt something. The walls have marks all over them. It is in a great handy location, the staff at front counter always happy. Very out dated and needs a real good clean.
Stayed for one month in a studio apartment. Has everything that one need: Fully furnished with TV, cooktop for cooking, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer. free unlimited WIFI, car spot for the duration Location / Transportation: Fantastic and convenient a. 5 min walk to CBD b. Plenty of buses and central station very close c. Also plenty of car rental companies nearby or in CBD Minor feedback, considering the good price/rate: 1. bathtub/shower area needs a refresh 2. Internet provider is not the best, unstable WIFI despite unlimited. Thank you Roger and Peter from Fresco management. : Give them a call directly if staying long term for competitive rate.
