Queensland Islamic Book Service originally started up in Brisbane, as a family's desire to cater for the growing Muslim population in Brisbane, by establishing a place where Muslims could purchase Islamic books and clothing. As the business developed so too did the awareness of Islam within the community and so Queensland Islamic Book Service set out to enrich non-Muslims about the beauty of Islam, by stocking educational material as well.
