Nice local place with a simple bar menu. Service was quick and the burger I had was tasty. They have a rotating selection of local beers, comfortable places for small groups to hang inside and a nice outside patio. There was a light rain as I was leaving that only lasted a few minutes and nobody outside seemed to care
What a relaxing enjoyable and funky place to meet with mates or just sit and chill with your partner after a day of walking around Hobart.nThe burgers were beautiful and chips, fresh.nSingle barrel beer so they are always changing their labels.
Sick atmosphere with live DJ's, you can actually eat inside a bus!nnStaff are super friendly and the most important thing dogs are allowed! nnThe beer and food offered is good.
It was my first visit here and I thoroughly enjoyed my experience from start to finish. The employee behind the bar was nice, knowledgeable and knew his beers on tap well. He kindly poured a few tap samples of beer for my parents and explained the difference of the beers to give them comparison between the samples.nnThe food was spot on delicious. I got the classic LA and being from San Francisco, this did not disappoint. It tasted very similar to an animal style burger and fries from in-n-out burger also an iconic staple of California.nnThe dining room area is welcoming, inviting and very open. I saw a “book of beers” which was really fun to read through during the short wait for the food.nnThere’s also a really cool outdoor seating area with heat lamps, and a decked out city passenger bus converted into an indoor/outdoor table and chairs so you could eat and or drink inside the city passenger bus! Haven’t seen this elsewhere and I’ll be returning tonight for another drink just to check out this bus in their beer garden.nnThe atmosphere is fantastic for family dinners, dates, casual outings or celebrations. I highly recommend if you’re considering this burger joint, you will not be disappointed!nnThanks to the kitchen staff and friendly guy serving beer and taking our order at the register.nnI also loved that they were supporting a non-profit to help dogs out in Tasmania which is where our leftover change from dinner went to.nnAnd there’s really cool 3D art in the dining area. Open seating. It is important to note that you do have to walk up stairs to get inside. I didn’t see a ramp in the event someone needed one, but I could’ve missed it on my way out.
Just went in for beer, so can’t comment on the food. A busy bar set above the Salamanca district. It feels like this is where the locals go. The range of interesting micro brews is great. The feel of the place from the novel bus “outdoor” seating, to the cosy fireplace warmed front room was great. The beer was excellent
