Story

Cargo Bar Pizza Lounge is set in the heart of historic Salamanca Place.

Built from Georgian sandstone in the 1830’s the original site was used to house grain, wool and apples before being exported around the world.

Today this 180 year old building is home to Hobart’s premier woodfired pizza and wine bar which incorporates a style and service to inside and outside licensed areas. There is also a take away area for coffee, delicious pizzas, gourmet salads and homemade gelato. The bar theme is based on an old world European concept incorporating style and elegance within a casual environment.

Grabbed a few quick takeaway coffees. Wasn't busy but waited ten mins or so. Coffee was awful. One lukewarm and one like dishwater. I tried to take one back but the Barista only offered the he could add a shot of coffee to my already awful coffee. Used to get takeaways often but Won't go back.

I bought lazy yak beer for $11.5 and it’s bit expensive, usually I buy tap beer for 7 or 8 but the location was perfect, it was busy however they have enough space inside and outside, it’s good for dinner, different range of food and drinks, decoration was very fancy and it was nice and clean, there is enough parking in front of it. Experienced Staffs and they are around.Toilet was very clean, totally they doing great job.
