Concealed behind a red doorway in a covert laneway off Little Bourke street resides Portello Rosso, a small tapas and Jamón restaurant. We pride ourselves on our honest and passionate interpretation of the Spanish way of dining and drinking: shared plates, fresh produce, wines from Spain, Australia and around the world, Sherry, Sidra, Raciones and succulent slices of Jamón, all tied together with relaxed yet professional service.

Salad is amazing. Seafood paella pretty nice, fresh and tasty. Rice combined with the seafood soup, very delicious. But I don’t like mussel a little bit fishy. And I really hope they could put few saffron.
Food was amazing, they were able to cater my request for an entire gluten-free meal. Most dishes in the menu were gluten-free. Service was excellent. Atmosphere was very romantic for a dinner with your partner.
Delicious Spanish tapas found near Melbourne Central. The flatbread with capsicum was good, the pork belly was tender with a crispy skin but the highlight was definitely the beef cheek! Really good cabbage and parsnip chips with incredibly tender beef cheek alongside. My mouth is watering just thinking about it again!
