Amazingly delicious cocktails, very well presented and reasonably priced for the quality they serve. The waiters are attentive and most of them were very knowledgeable about their cocktails. Bookings are a must on Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Weeknights should be fine to walk in, but I recommend booking anyway. Please note they also have 2 hour time blocks during busy times too so don't be late and be sure to absorb the beautiful atmosphere while your there. Please do yourself a favour and book it in, you won't regret it

We visited @nickandnorasmelbourne on our recent visit to Melbourne. The bar was everything we love in a cocktail bar. The decor was luxurious and comfortable with a wonderful feeling of the prohibition era. The service was very friendly. The menu was extensive and filled with delicious options, which were not only beautifully presented but also very tasty. This is a bar I will definitely return to and recommend to others. I look forward to my next cocktail when I am home again.

Beautiful cocktails, beautiful food, totally worth the visit! Staff are fantastic and very knowledgeable, I had a cocktail suggested not on menu after describing the flavour profile I was after. We had a canape platter with the most delicious mushroom tart. I loved the Art Deco design elements too, just a great experience all round. You won't be disappointed :-

What more can be said of this place? Intimate, beautiful atmosphere with fantastic drinks. Knowledgeable staff across the large variety of cocktails. Will be hard to get a seat on busier nights especially Fridays and Saturdays but worth it.

Incredible cocktail bar in the city. Great selection of cocktails and knowledgeable staff make for an excellent place for post dinner cocktails. The ambience and decor really adds to the experience as well. Highly recommended.

Excellent spot for a late night fancy cocktail. So many options and each with a carefully selected theme. You won't be disappointed and if by chance it's your first time the super friendly staff will walk you through the menu. Why are you still here, you should be on your way to Nick & Nora's :.

Did we go on an off day? We went on a Sunday and the place wasn’t terribly full. The service was slow though friendly. I was asked how my drink was and I indicated The Thin Man was too sweet for my taste and based on the description not what I’d have expected. My partner’s drink, the Detective, was also unnecessarily sweet. At a good cocktail bar they don’t shrug and say “sorry it’s not to your taste” and walk away. They fix it. One drink was enough, so we decided to leave. The bill came but the machine was down. Also, because Sunday, they added 10%. They insisted on cash. The bill was $50.60. I gave her a 50. Again, at a good bar they say good enough — mediocre drinks, extra fees, and no card payment — and weave the 60 cents. She insisted on 60 cents. We paid and left. After my feedback on the drink, without fixing it, they should have just taken it off the bill. There are a few dozens amazing cocktail bars in the city, on this visit, it wasn’t one of them. UPDATE: The manager of Nick and Nora's contacted me and we had a fruitful discussion about what went wrong and what he's done to remedy the issues going forward. Based on that exchange, I've added a star to the rating from 2 to 3. I look forward to trying it again and hopefully, it'll be a 5 star next time.

Jane our hostess was super helpful and was great at helping us choose where to start in a huge list of cocktails. I did however find reading the menu on their website pdf easier to read than the printed folder. Lovely experience, and perfectly made drinks. We will be back... Update.. we went back.. another fun enjoyable evening of wonderful cocktails

This is the cocktail vibe bar that you have always been looking for. 1920 decor with a price tag but worth it. Went for private function. Well catered well served good food and cocktails. Will be back.

A beautiful and buzzing venue! The menu was exceptional, with the waitress further explaining the breakdown which was helpful. My drinks ice was hand carved and the bartender explained why and how it further enhanced the flavours of he drink. Probably the most perfect experience for a cocktail/tapas bar in Melbourne, but make sure you book. It’s often very busy, even sitting at the bar!
