Fantastic little pasta bar. Great selection and beautiful pasta and lemon tarts. Very busy with only the one owner working the floor so the service was a little slow. Nice coffee too. 4.5/5 highly recommend.
Great coffee, great pastries, small but cozy environment. Best of all great staff and professional barista. I think their magic is one of the best in CBD. It makes me feels like I’m having coffee in Italy . Couldn’t ask for more!
Great little cafe with sensational coffee. Visit in the morning and you are sure to overhear some interesting conversations between legal barristers discussing their cases. The cafe is the legal precinct. Service was a little slow as they were flat out being prime breakfast time. Certainly worth a visit.
Extremely rude...let me add to this then. Worker will speak to you in an aggressive manner and yell at you in front of the small amount of customers they have managed to get. Will not speak to you in a polite way. Obviously a very sad person who has no communication skills or understanding for simple errors. Embarrassing behaviours by an adult.
The coffee here is superb! And beautiful food. Had the omelette, freshly baked pastry and long black. So good I had to order another coffee. Lovely little Italian Cafe/Restaurant.
Food is always great here, especially eggs in the morning or freshly made pies for lunch. But the coffee is what I always head to Speck for. It’s just Michel doing the coffee and Catherine making all the delicious food. In particular, I am partial to the croissants and biscotti that is made there. Great for takeaway or dine in. Wonderful atmospheric Italian cafe.
Lovely little Italian cafe with great atmosphere. It has my favourite raisin toast of the the CBD, hands down! The minestrone and pastries also deserve a special mention. Highly recommend!
