Underground and private, Caterina’s Cucina e Bar, is an exciting lunch-only restaurant, frequented by business high-flyers, and others looking for that unique Italian experience. It does a roaring lunch trade invigorated by chef Jerry Kim’s regional Italian food and he is ably assisted by a variety of fresh Italian talent harnessed straight off the boat! That ensures authenticity and up to date ideas from the mother country.

Caterina Borsato, who launched her restaurant back in 1994, is well-known from her weekly cooking show on Channel 31, called ‘Regional Italian Cuisine’. True to form the show is about acknowledging the contributions of her migrant heritage. Old recipes that are not found in books, engaging stories that reaffirm culture and traditions, and every now and then, the odd “Saluté”!

Caterina’s Cucina e Bar is the perfect venue for hosting a corporate event, private dinners and functions or simply, an elegant wedding. These events can be booked outside the normal lunch trading periods. The restaurant can seat 90 people and can be booked for a party for up to 150 people – or tailor to suit your function requirements.
