Been wanting to try this out as we pass by this resto a lot of times and glad we were not disappointed! The paella is so good it’s now one of our favorites. The grilled chicken was good as well which we paired with the paella. Overall we definitely enjoyed our lunch here with a nice ambiance despite being in an alleyway and with people passing by. Staff were friendly too so service was great. Will definitely be back here and try more of their menu.
I have been here so many times that now it feels like my go to place when I don’t know where to eat! The place seems like a comfort zone to relax on an afternoon. It’s a tiny place set up between H&M and Myer on Bourke Street. So best pick once you’re tired of shopping. The best thing I like here is the garlic bread, love love it! Their pizzas are different, very light and soft but flavourful.
Definitely I’d say this is hidden gem In Melbourne. Came across this place by accident and totally loved it. Its located in a small alley right next to H&M. Went here for lunch with a friend and loved the hospitality. The food was exceptional. Pizza was extremely thin and crispy. The pesto pasta had a perfect mixture of pesto/basil. Arancini balls served with a side of salad was a perfect pair.
Walking past and wanting to get a coffee, friend pointed this place out. Great, what a find! Nestled between GPO and Myer, Ca De Vin is a laneway restaurant with delicious coffees! Decaf soy latte, flat white, cappuccino and latte. Will definitely go back for a meal. Really nice decor, distressed tables, industrial retro vibe, great, love that look.
The atmosphere when you walk in is so calm, romantic and relaxing. You don’t even feel like you’re in Melbourne anymore. The food was so delicious and fresh and the Tiramisu cocktail was amazing. Perfect restaurant for a date night!
Our last night in Melbourne we randomly picked this on the map. It was a great choice, snuggled between two old buildings, in the open yet sheltered from the weather. Simple rustic Italian food, beautifully cooked, along with a small but well picked wine list. There was a buzz about the place and the waiter gave us just the right amount of attention. Super relaxed. At the end we were full but not stuffed. Perfect. Will definitely revisit.
Secluded little alley restaurant, much calmer than the bustle of Bourke St. Old school vibes, heart Italian food. A touch expensive for what it is. Saturday surcharge of 10% feels cheeky, as well as credit card surcharge which they didn’t flag with me.
An alleyway pizza n pasta joint. Busy and very popular. We strolled from our hotel about 50 m and discovered this great place on Valentines Day. We had 4 delicious cocktails, Saganaki and an oval thin crusted pizza which came to $135. Excellent value, great taste, and flavours. We sat by the kitchen and watched the buzz going on in there. Thoroughly recommend this place. .
Came across this restaurant by chance, We ordered prosciutto pizza, fungi pizza and a affogato as a dessert. Thinner than the classic Italian dough, crunchy and light, with fresh enough ingredient, the pizza had a 'made at home' vibe. The service was fast even if it was Friday night, we enjoy the dinner.
Every time I visit, I'm never disappointed, loved my mushroom pizza and warmed garlic olives in passata, with a nice piece of bread to sop up the sauce!!!! Just beautiful, and to quote Arnold Schwarzenegger, I'll be back!!!
