Story

Though we may sound like the Melbourne consulate for Italy’s much-loved bitter red aperitif, Campari House is actually the latest incarnation of an old-school Italian bistro that opened its Hardware Lane Doors in 1968.

Showcasing modern Italian inspired cuisine that utilises both locally sourced, native & sustainable ingredients we hope to reflect the diversity of Melbourne’s unique dining culture while staying true to our traditional roots.

Friendly staff and good drinks. Great thick cut chips.
Great variety of drinks and beautiful views on the rooftop. The food wasn't quite worth it though. Pizza bases weren't great quality. Highly recommend coming for a drink.

My wife and I visited a few weeks ago and we noticed the owner abusing his staff. I think is name is johnny. We didn't stick around for long. Everything is overpriced - chips, schnitzels, salads and even drinks. I won't be going back there.
