Booked a table and we're asked if we wanted the one booked inside or choose outside, we chose outside - fabulous setting on a hit summer evening. We were served by a few very efficient, friendly and humorous staff. Good was very tasty and arrived in good time. Will be going back and recommending it to people.

Edible food I think is the best way to put it? After arriving at lunch time we were told the kitchen was closing, and then after informing them we had at least 8 people coming in, not only was this inconvenient to the staff, we were then told we needed to book. For lunch. Really? For 8 people. Advertised fresh fish on the menu, which wasn't available. The after we all finished eating over half of us felt ill. Stay in town and go to maccas.

We went here expecting some good honest pub food that was above average, but the food was actually below average. Although it wasn't horrible, it wasn't worth the money we paid, as we'd expect it to be restaurant quality for their prices. Recommend this place just for some beers and a lunch at best. But, the staff and service was 5 star, food was 2 star.

Appaulling. Avoid Visited the restaurant in 2016 and seemed fine so thought would try again. Service was OK but the food was absolutely shocking. 2 of us ordered schnitzel which was barely edible and we left half the food. My daughter ordered a pizza that you couldn't cut, nevermind eat. We complained and was told that they had let them know in the kitchen. When we came to pay we were told that manager insisted that we catagorically had no reduction on the bill and had left the restaurant and wasn't contactable. I asked why he hadn't spoken to us and the reason was he didn't like confrontation. Eventually a compromise was reached. The manager should be embarrassed serving such distigusting fare and someone so gutless not to apologise to customers shouldn't work in the restaurant business.
