The best steak, jus and roasted veggies I have ever eaten. A lovely, out of the way restaurant with friendly staff and cosy pub-like atmosphere - I imagine it would be especially nice to eat there in winter. Ate there at 7pm with 2 kids and 4 adults and the food was all delicious and beautifully presented. Compliments to the chef. My only small gripes were that the measures of a ‘glass’ of wine were not very big (I.e not even half a glass), and that the children’s meals were brought out so long before the adult meals that they had almost finished when we began (which leaves us trying to occupy them while we ate). Nevertheless I would highly recommend this restaurant (don’t be put off by the slightly cheesy signage out front and above the entrance).
