Worst buffet food ever tasted, really friendly and helpful staff, but food is just off the flavour. Chicken curry had a taste like raw ingredients and the salads were too bad, roast veggies either overcoked or too hard to cut and eat. Drinks and bar is beautiful, so is the scenery and the interior of place.

Lovely looking place, however when served the scallops they still had the frill, black sack and roe still attached.. we questioned as to why the black stomach sack was not removed.. the chef came out and instead of rectifying the situation he basically told us that we are wrong and that the scallops are supposed to be served whole without being cleaned properly, (apparently the way they do it here in NZ) when we asked him to try one to taste the sand that comes in the sack, he blankly refused, told me I shouldn't be eating it because I'm pregnant (you never tell a hungry preganant women what not to eat), and my partner can't taste it properly because he's a smoker.. you don't have to be a non smoker to feel the sand in your mouth.. he was super defensive and offered no apology.. extremely rude and we would never return. We cancelled our order completely and left in a hurry. Avoid avoid avoid!! Shame because the waiting staff seemed pleasant enough. Needless to say we've never been spoken to that way by any member of staff anywhere..
