Awesome food. I love this restaurant. Every dish is great and in have nearly eaten everything on the menu. Try the cocktail of the month it rarely disappoints. If you stay at the hotel children eat for free if you vacate by 7pm which is fine if you arrive anywhere from 5:30pm to 6pm. Make sure you book as it is often booked out.

Good food and atmosphere. The waitress who delivered our food to the table walked away right after she put down the dish right in front of our 9month old baby. Our baby instantly put his hand into the hollandaise (which contains raw eggs, harmful for babies) and almost drag the plate off the table. For a family friendly hilton restaurant, thought they could do with more training around young kids.

Service was amazing glasses were never empty. Great food wife loved the duck and my steak was cooked perfectly.

We went there for tea after a long day on the road. Restaurant was booked out for the next hour but we could have a Bar Meal, there were three or four options and my wife and I settled for a hamburgher at $28/serving which gives the impression that it must be good at that money. After waiting and having two beers hamburghers came out with large chips on side. There was no sauce or aoli to go with dry chips and the hamburgher had thick patti in the bun with not much else. It was light grey on the outside and raw inside. My wife sent hers back for a recook I ate my bun some of patti left the rest. Sat on for 20mins after I had finished no sign of my wifes burgher getting returned so we walked out. My wife ended up eating breakfast cereal that we had in our motel. We are 70years old and this would be the poorest eating experience we have ever had.

Visited for high tea mid-week. Service was excellent - attentive and profession without being overbearing. Food very good. Classic decor although the name Bistro Lago is perhaps a bit unfortunate. Place was utterly empty when we visited.
