Seriously we have had f&c's from Grasshopper for more than 43 years..not based in Taupo.. we were going to order Uber.. but couldn't order their fresh delicious Gurnard fish.. the awesome lady answering the phone.. running the shop is amazing..picked up our order ..10 mins.. hot delicious food.. thank u team!
Ts good was so amazing I love the meat. It tastes like food, I would recommend, the staff was so kind and very handsome especially ts guy I think his name was Ashton Wilkinson, I love grasshopper, 10/10
I ordered the $17 fish&chip pack for 2. It’s slightly more than we could finish.nFood: generous portion. The batter is a tad greasier than I’d have liked.nWait time: given that the fish is cooked to order, 10mins wait time is nothing.nIf you like chinese food, the shop has ‘all you can stuff’ type of menu. You pay for a container size and load it up with what you like from the counter.
You have to have the cheeseburger. Amazing. So good. All the food is amazing.nStaff awesome. A special hello to the magic lady who always takes my cheeseburger and chips order. You are the best. I will always go back here when im in Taupo.
We were recommended this place from a local and were very pleased with the fish and chips we received. The fish was a good size and yummy. The chips were a good portion. We will be making this our new go to for takeaways. Good service.
