Too disappointed.Bought a new couch, paying full cash upfront and paying extra for delivery. The delivered product had damage leather peeled off which was reported immediately.The customer care sent someone and did a patch up instead of replacing or giving some refund.
I visited the store and decided on a Lounge Suite. I asked at the time would they give a discount. The answer was no. I am not quoting exactly what was said but it was something to the effect of; they're already at cost price. Which I know is incorrect as there is always money to be made off them regardless of whether they are on special or not, which it wasn't. A couple of days later a Pine Discount Leaflet arrives in the mail that the lounge suite I purchased is now $200 cheaper. It's like really? On unwrapping it was discovered there was a circular hole in the fabric which judging by the appearance was done at the manufacturing level. The positioning of the furniture protectors on the feet were out of alignment in some cases. There was even a tack where a furniture protector should have been. I rectified that myself. I emailed pine discount furniture as I prefer to go to the top in these matters. I said I accepted my lot but in future it would be wise to take into consideration that customers should get a discount when asking for one regardless and that the quality of the furniture should be up to standards before they are delivered. It's been a week and I haven't heard from them. I won't be shopping there again.

Honestly the worst customer service I have ever experienced. They are so money hungry and just plain rude. My item was out of stock and I was told two weeks tops... 2ish months later and they lie to me and say yes they will be here tomorrow and you guessed it, they still hadn’t arrived & all together would’ve been 3 months after I paid for them. I ordered with 2 months to spare as a birthday gift, so disappointing it was so late, but also my truck had to be sold by then so when they did arrive I no longer had a way to pick them up. So I asked if I could get free delivery due to the huge delay and being lied to I’m exactly 6 mins away & of course they said no and they were just so rude and angry even though I was trying so hard to be nice and understanding. I understand arrival dates aren’t always exact, but I informed them of the time limit & they guaranteed they’d arrive on time. Did they know from the beginning they wouldn’t be here in time but just wanted my money? I really do wonder.
Went in to look at lounges on Monday, 4th saw a 3 x 2 we liked, hubby asked for a discount and was told no they were cheap now! They could not arrange delivery until Thursday and so because we had sold our previous one we ordered them. Imagine our disgust when we got the Weekend Courier today 8th and saw them advertised for $300 less than we paid - that was huge discount on the $898 we paid plus $79 delivery. The sales person must have known the newspaper wrap around would have been planned at least a week prior. Be assured we will not return and tell everyone how it feel to be ripped off. The least she could have done was give us free delivery!!!!!!
I am a first time customer to the Port Kennedy store. I purchased the cosmic queen size bed. Initially my partner was unable to pick up himself so I paid for delivery. The following day my partners work schedule changed & now he is available to collect. I spoke to a girl named Amy who was lovely & I explained we are getting married next week & now that my partner can collect himself, we would rather save the cost of the delivery. Amy assured me it was fine to be refunded my delivery charge I will just have to phone through my account details. When I phoned through I was put through to the store manager Adele at the Port Kennedy store & I have never been spoken to so poorly as a customer!! She demanded I give her a good reason for my refund & for cancelling delivery. I explained and she snapped at me the entire time. I pulled her up on how she was speaking to me and told her that I really just would like my refund. She then proceeded to tell me that I had an attutude and IF the refund is accepted by customer service it will take up to 5 business days. The way she has treated me has left me sending my partner to collect by himself as I do not want to step foot in their premises. Funnily enough we were actually looking into furnishing our entire living area & upgrading our main bedroom furniture after our wedding.... will not be using pine discount port kennedy thats for sure!! I expect an apology from pine discount as a first time customer who has been treated so poorly. Absolutely disgusting!!! Quick to take your money & treat you like an inconvenience when requiring assistance after the sale!!
The worst customer experience I have received. I had paid a deposit for a queen suite in April and was told the bed would be in stock by the end of the month. It is now June and I have been advised the suite is no longer available after calling Pine Discount every week for 3 months and being told it was in stock 3 times each time I went to make a payment the bed was unavailable. They have since advised me that that they can't be bothered to make phone calls to their customers to update them and don't care but they are more then happy to take your money. The staff are rude and incompetent and have made no effort to resolve the issue.
Don't waste your money. Purchased a 3 and 2 seater, 2 seater was delivered broken. Rang the store who said customer service would contact us in 48 hours. 3 days later WE rang to follow up and got told they had to send an assessor out for the damage. Now day 11 post delivery and we're no closer to getting what we paid for.
I purchased the nelly king single bed package and a mattress. I am very happy with the bed package and mattress, fantastic value solid and looks great and a great storage under the bed. The mattress is so nice. Son loves it. The girls are so friendly and helpful.I will be back.
Awesome experience at the port kennedy store spoke to Henry we ordered the 11 piece package he was full of infomation with a freindly manner the lady there too greeted us when we walked in also a freindly person... lyle and lynne. .2 thumbs up...
