I've only been to this store 3 times and every single time the staff act entitled, rude and disrespectful. I come to buy products not to get a lecture. If ur staff isnt happy to be employed then go elsewhere. U have no right to talk down to the people that come. If we customers stop coming ur staff wouldnt have the job they have. U are cashiers, get off that high horse and come back to reality and show some respect to customers simply trying to buy products in this store!
EDIT 5/1/2026;nAs requested I sent the details to the provided Petbarn email id here. On Sunday 4/1 I received a reply asking if they can call me. To which I said, I don't feel comfortable providing my contact number, but can call their number if possible.nThe reply email I got from the customer service representative was WITH MY MOBILE NUMBER included from their end, saying that it was in their file. So, the person accessed my personal details, saying it was required to 'help them verify my identity and assist me securely' that is exactly what the email says.nI'm not sure why the customer service person had to access my personal details to 'verify my identity' to reply to the email I sent, after a request from their end!nnWe drove 32km one way to adopt a kitten that was AVAILABLE on the system for adoption. I'm writing the review 3.5hours after the visit and still is available on the system.nUpon arrival the attitude of the staff member that started work @9.45am was extremely toxic. She didn't want to be at work and she didn't want customers to be there either!!. The second staff member that started @ 10am was very nice and friendly.nThe first staff member gave us so much attitude, it's enough for the next 12 months.nAlso, when we arrived we were told in not so friendly terms that the kitten we were looking forward to adopt was 'pending adoption' although on-line it still is available!.nDissapointed, we drove back. Atleast have accurate information available on the website, so people don't waste their valuable time. & please have customer facing staff who gives a damn about the customers and the company. You can advertise on the webpage saying 'Thousands of dogs and cats are looking for loving homes', but when you waste people's time, you're doing a disservice for the animals and the humans looking to adopt.nHopefully the management take note and rectify the above!

Staff here are amazing, whether it’s the counter or grooming staff they have always been friendly & professional. Huge range of pet products should have everything you could want. Loads of free parking also helps & bringing your dog along with you is encouraged.
nnI regularly buy food from this store to feed street cats, usually every two days. This shop offers a free bag with every purchase, which I have always received before.nnHowever, during my last visit, a young male staff member behaved very rudely and came to the cashier to tell them not to give me the free bag. I was very disappointed and upset by this behavior.nnIt is truly unfortunate for such a large store to treat a loyal customer this way—especially someone who is trying to support and care for homeless animals.nnBecause of this experience, I will never shop at this store again, and I will also recommend my friends to buy from other vet shops instead.
