I have been to this restaurant twice. First time in September 2016 and second time in July 2017. Whenever my parents visited me from Singapore, I would bring them here. My parents love the ambience, service was good, the food is great and the staff are friendly. Price wise is reasonable considering the portions given. The restaurant owner, Charlie, is warm and a conversational person whom my parents enjoy speaking to. He is really sweet to remember their names even after 1 year. This year 2018 when my folks visit, we will definitely go back again : overall a really good experience.  Ps: some of the bad reviews I read is just ridiculous and vague. It is like you said so much but said nothing at all. I mean if you are cheapskate and unreasonable, don’t blame the restaurant for bad service. So I decided to write this review. I mean just look at the food photos I took and you will know what I mean. Don’t they look gorgeous? :

Absolutely 5 star, one of the best breakfasts I've had in years, everything thing was cooked to perfection and great serving sizes, kids had heaps of room to run around and even a bouncy castle while we waiting for our breakfast. Staff were fantastic and quick with anything we asked for, would definitely come back here again

The Penny Garden Restaurant is one of the most beautiful places you could eat at in the Swan Valley. They offer an extensive menu catering for Gluten free and vegetarian as well as ala carte. Set amongst the Swan Valley wineries and beautiful trees, it is a picture perfect place to hold a special function or enjoy a romantic dinner. The gardens and views have to be seen to truly be appreciated. Enjoy local wines with your meal to truly capture the essence of the Swan Valley.

Outstanding service. We really enjoyed our time here with our kids Beautiful gardens & lots of room for the kids to run around First time visitor but we will definitely come back. Food was amazing!

Beautiful, family friendly location with great fresh food and friendly staff. The pancakes were well worth the drive from Perth.

Loved it here, nice quiet setting, great food and service, lovely view to the hills. Best part is that it is dog friendly. Looking forward to a return visit.

Once again we went to Penny Garden Restaurant for lunch.  A great welcome. We had a selection of dishes and we all agreed they were great.  We even got Mine Host to take a photo outside for us...how about for service!

Top service and food. I was pleasantly surprised by how good the food was. My husband and I live in the hills and came out for dinner on a Friday night to try some Swan Valley hospitality and produce. Amazing meals and presentation. Each meal can be paired with a local Swan Valley wine - and the recommendations were spot on. Staff were friendly and attentive. Thoroughly recommend.

We just had meals and dessert at Penny Garden. Really nice venue, would be ideal for large groups. Service was excellent and food came out quickly. Meals were excellent average price i think around $35 for a main. Good value, the meals were very substantial  My only gripe would be wine selection is limited. We sat indoors, outdoor area looks nice and relaxed. We will definitely be back
