Ordered the French Toast, Fried Chicken Croffle, Potato Rosti, drinks including Honeycomb Affogato, Coco Loco and the standard coffees. Food wise i would give it probably 4.5 star. I like the French Toast sauce combination. It made the strawberry tasted sweet and the french toast even more flavourful. The chicken croffle chicken can be more juicy while i had better potato rosti before. Found the salad sauce for the latter abit too sour that i would appreciate it even without. The coco loco is not for coffee lover as i find the taste too messy. Perhaps taking out the cacao since they already have a non espresso version. But the honeycomb affogato was the highlight. Amazing! Coffee was strong, honeycomb was generous and did i remember tasting some sort of chocolate? Maybe i would prefer it without the chocolate as there is already honey and ice cream. But i was enjoying it so much! Service was more focus on indoor than the outdoor seatings. And... perhaps they were busy so i think abit more smile at the start may make a customer's day. Should still come for a try as the food choice and taste are still pretty decent. Thanks!
Absolutely LOVED this place! I had THE BEST birthday breakfast here today!nRainy day in Perth, miserable weather, my birthday, I needed to get some blood tests done fasting!. So breakfast was a must afterwards. We walked into Sayers Sister, and sooo cozy! Menu is pretty standard, I ordered poached eggs on a toast with avocado and greens. It was a bit of a wait… but so worth it! If I could rate higher than five, would do it! Everything on that plate was awesome, the toast, the green leaves super fresh, avo, perfectly poached eggs. Huge Thank you for my special treat.
I had a fantastic experience here on Lake Street. The food was presented beautifully and tasted even better.nnI particularly loved the poppy seed bagel. It was loaded with a perfectly fried egg and crispy bacon, making for a truly satisfying meal. Every bite was delicious. I will definitely be coming back soon.
It was packed and a wait for tables but the food and beverages were well worth the wait. My smoked salmon eggs Benedict was yum; the asparagus and cauliflower were creative additions that really elevated the meal. My mimosa was great; beautiful presentation. Likewise the bagel was fantastic with crispy bacon, a tasty hashbrown and perfectly runny eggs; the bagel itself was excellent as well. Coffee was also good; hot and creamy. Lots of lovely effort was put into everything. Will definitely come back.
Sayers Sister is definitely a popular local favourite, so the 40+ minute wait for a table wasn’t too surprising, also given it was long weekend and we got there around 11am on a Sunday. Parking around the city was a bit of a headache too, although that’s obviously not the cafe’s fault. Once we got seated though, the food made up for it. I had the fried chicken croffle and it was absolutely delicious! Generous serving size, great flavours, and the coffee was really good too.
