Bistro Guillaume Perth

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal here - the duck breast and pork shoulder were both perfectly cooked and full of flavour. Nice atmosphere, all the 2-person tables are set up Paris Bistro style facing you out the window. The only thing we didn't love is the charcuterie platter - some of the flavours were a bit too intense for us. Otherwise a great experience all round, wait staff were very friendly and informative.

The food is good, portions perhaps too small. Need to work on service, staff could smile once in a while. Cocktail list is exceptional and well made drinks were great.

Went for the $55 lunch special. The food was excellent, really good. The only gripe I had is that the waitstaff kept serving the guys before the gals even after I asked them not to. I'm a bit old fashioned like that.

Awesome night out. They accommodate our 2 children well and sat us in the corner next to the window so (hopefully) less distraction to other diners. Waiters was efficient and really let us enjoy the night without being rushed in. My fish was cooked perfectly and the mix of sauce & puree was yum. Highly recommended. Even better as they are on entertainment book for 2017-2018 for 25% off up to $45.

Food ok however lukewarm, service was great upon welcome/departure, though very unpleasant, slow and terse when ordering. Waiting 70 minutes (without exaggeration) and in the absence of prior notice nor disclosure of such unreasonable delays for standard menu items is unacceptable. Unfortunately this is the 3rd recent negative experience at a Crown restaurant, standards are slipping substantially with each visit, shared family dinner with no less than 6 spiders overhead, lift your game Crown.
