The Merrywell is located right next to the Crown Hotels and Casino — a great spot with a lively atmosphere. The food is excellent, really tasty and well-prepared. However, the service leaves a lot to be desired. You have to find your own table and place your order yourself, which gives it more of a fast-food or takeaway vibe.nnConsidering the prices and the prime location, the level of service could definitely be improved to better match the overall setting and expectations.
We reserved a table for 10. All food gets ordered from one side of the venue and drinks including non alcoholic, tea, coffee and hot chocolate, kids drinks are all ordered from the bar. Great and quick service for alcoholic drinks but expect a wait on for hot chocolate for your kids on a cold winter's Saturday when there's back to back Beauty and the Beast shows on. Food was very tasty and quick to arrive and portions were very generous, none of us could finish! Sadly it meant none of us could fit in dessert and that menu looked good too. We'll know for next time!
The Merrywell is a great place to relax and enjoy good food. I ordered the cheeseburger and it was delicious—juicy, flavourful, and cooked just right. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the service was fast. The food tasted fresh and was nicely presented. I loved the cozy vibe of the place. Everything was clean and well-maintained. I’d happily visit again and recommend it to friends. A really nice experience!
Generally pretty noisy and expensive but food and drinks are always good.nnGets super loud inside, so would recommend sitting outside if possible.nnStaff seem nice. And they have hard rated on tap.
Food and cocktails were really tasty. Service was fast and staff were really helpful and friendly. Is on the pricier side but would recommend to other people!
