Market & Co Restaurant

Not up to the standard of the other restaurants at The Crown. Service: - Had to constantly ask if we could order more drinks - Essentially we had no service until our meals were put on our table - Weren't asked it we wanted any water - The water we eventually got had something floating in it Meals: - The $59 theatre menu is a bit light on food. Yes the buffalo wings were nice, but the main (pasta) and dessert (cheesecake) were not worth what you are charged. It's not an upmarket place so 2 cm thick cheesecake is a bit of a joke. - If you were to get suitable portion sizes you would spend roughly $15 for starter, $25 for main, $10 for dessert so they are definitely overcharging Other: - Don't allow split bills - Take a service charge/tip for using credit cards. This is one place I would not have given a tip.

I have been to Market & Co with my friends a number of times and love the service and food offered on their menu. Unfortunately, we found that these last few months had been quite unpleasant for us since the background music played at this restaurant is far, far too loud! We could hardly hear each other and the music played is based on a jukebox/disco situation! The staff was unable or unwilling to turn down the music, unlike on former occasions when the Head staff understood that at a Restaurant, patrons appreciate SOFT, complimentary music in the background, not loud, disco music..... We won't be back in a hurry, folks! No wonder it's never busy during lunch time (I have never attended dinner time).

The restaurant is nice. Nothing special but nice. Had the veggie burger with a side of fries. The burger was very tasty. The mushroom was huge and delicious. The fries though were nice but not enough.

One of my best friends and I had an unexpected lunch today instead of us walking. What an absolute delight this place is. Warm, friendly, clean, nice table in the window section. Service was excellent as was the food. Would highly recommend and will certainly return. Thank you Market and Co.

It was okay but I wouldn't recommend. The food tasted good but it was small, even the serving of chips. It was the service that spoiled it for me. The waiters were slow to attend and respond. It took about 10 minutes to get the dessert menu to us. We had to ask for water a couple of times because they forgot. Little things like that. Our main's took over an hour to arrive, so long that they announced they were closing the bar before our food had even arrived (we arrived at 7:30pm). An okay restaurant.
