The most underwhelming meal I’ve had at the crown, the staff did not want to be there and the $400 we spent would have easily be bested by $60 of Chinese takeaway from the Ambassador in Cannington. Think again people.

The decor and ambiance were really nice , unfortunately the food and service was not . The crispy skin pork belly was not crispy and the peking duck was dry and chewy . Our local chinese is far superior. The service from the staff ( bar one male waiter)was poor . Given that It is meant to be a premier restaurant I did not expect trouble flagging down staff to ask for water . Dissapointing given the prices. Would not recommend or return .

Been a few times now enjoyed it every time, food is excellent , only complaint is I reckon the fried rice is way overpriced

Decided to try Silks as we thought it would be a quality restaurant, what a joke. It was at about 10% capacity and we had to wait to be attended to by staff who appeared like they couldn't be bothered only to be told we would have to wait 5 to 10 minutes for a table for two ?? Eventually we were seated by staff who were not very informative about the menu items and the menu is not very descriptive either. We felt like we were being treated like second class citizens by the staff who were so far up themselves. The meal was ordinary for the price paid. Save your money, there are far better dining experiences in Perth.
