If you enjoy burnt bacon that’s harder then a rock and burnt toast with less flavour then a Taylor swift song eat here.nnWow we ordered the Paysanne poached egg plate, and it came out with a huge blob of jar caramelised onions and the bacon was burnt and I had to add more salt then I’ve ever had to add before to a meal to make it edible.nnWe also ordered the scambled eggs which clearly haven’t even been mixed properly and which was more watery then the lakes around Macedon then thrown on top of burnt bread.. not sure what the other reviews are raving about? Goes to show you shouldn’t trust people on the internet.
Fantastic little cafe!nThe food was amazing!nStaff caring and attentive!nAnd the tea top notch!nI absolutely loved the little cow milk jug! Cutest thing ever!nI highly recommend Paysanne if you’re in the area. You won’t be disappointed
Lovely Cafe at the top end of Woodends main strip. Delicious chicken burger and chips and a lemon and ginger tea. Lovely staff and great service. Then we came back for a take away coffee for the drive home.
Our group of 4 had a lovely lunch at Paysanne. I was impressed by the food options as they cater for various dietary requirements including Vegetarian, Vegan, Gluten Free, Dairy Free. And Fructose Free. As a coeliac, I noticed that they go above and beyond the typical café gluten free options which is appreciated. Wish more cafés would offer such a decent range of GF food like Paysanne does.
Beautiful cafe with helpful staff. The food was delicious and the service was pretty good.
