Our first meal at Double 8 with our 4yo and 2yo, we had the Banquet B - delicious food and very warm and welcoming staff, highly recommended! Thanks Kate, great to meet you and chat - we will be back very soon !
We walked in and ordered for a take-away group of 10 adults on a Friday night. The girls on the counter were super polite and efficient . Food arrived pretty quick and provided in a large styrofoam box. Got home and food was lovely and fresh...super hot and steaming. Best Chinese takeaway I have had in years....will be back for sure.
FANTASTIC Food and great price. Friendly service too. Very value for money. one of the best Asian food in the Mount Macedon Ranges area especially so if you want traditional Chinese food. Would definitely come back for more. Our family often frequent their take away
Absolutely delicious food... We ordered from the takeaway menu but upon entering the Restaurant, the dining in area is decorated really nice, it’s clean, lit perfectly for a cozy meal and the staff are dressed in traditional style clothes that give a lovely authentic atmosphere, staff are friendly, but most importantly the food is brilliant, so flavourful & tasty!!! Can’t wait to go in for a sit down meal & really enjoy the experience!!! 10/10
Just awful.... Went to this restaurant based on the positive reviews. Got our entrees quickly then waited over an hour before giving up and leaving. Last straw was watching the table next to us get their meals in ten minutes even though they arrived 45mins after us!! Only three small tables of customers in the whole place. No apologies either! Had a spring roll that was honestly the worst I've ever had so perhaps not getting our meals was a blessing. Avoid this place at all costs!

Im not going back here again which is a shame because my meal was ok, I enjoyed it, but for my single meal of prawns and rice it was $35. This place is far from fine dining and certainly not worth that one meal, no drink. The menu price and what I paid were different. When I went to pay they added on an additional $4 surcharge- apparently to ask for “only broccoli” in a prawn and veggie stir fry cost me $3 extra and having prawns cost me $1 extra...what?? Why have a prawn meal on the menu at x price and then when you go to pay they say all prawn dishes have a surcharge??? I spoke to another local who also said they’d been overcharged at this place too, being ask to pay more than the menu price with surprise surcharges. Not impressed and will not be back.
Singapore noodles were exactly as I had hoped fav meal & have tried quite a few versions - these are right up there for freshness, taste & serve size. The duck rolls are super special too. Big thumbs up!
Haven't been here for years, that clearly became apparent that was a mistake. The food and service here are extraordinary, can't wait to get back. Satay chicken, some of the best I've ever had!
