I can't say enough good things about our  experience! The food was absolutely amazing—every dish was beautiful. Gareth and his team were incredibly warm and welcoming hosts.  Gareth went above and beyond by driving us home when we couldn't get an Uber. Truly exceptional service! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience.

We booked Kuzu Izakaya last minute. We've wanted to dine here for a long time and never got around to it. It may be one of the best Japanese meals we've had outside of Japan. The food was exceptional. It's fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is intimate and fully booked out. It made for a great atmosphere. Photos attached of the food. It's as good as it looks. We highly recommend this restaurant!

We were a group of eight. We opted to try the Omakase Matsuko, and it proved to be an enjoyable experience. The group was particularly demanding. Due to the distances we had to travel and the fact that we needed an earlier booking, we had to make some changes to the group. Then, due to work commitments and health issues, there were further adjustments to the group size, which meant we had to push the time to later. This establishment proved to be a great success, offering solutions to any challenges that arose.nAt last, the night came, and it proved to be a truly memorable and amazing experience from start to finish.  The gentle cascading waterfall outside, along with the tranquil outdoor setting and decor, created a serene atmosphere. We began with an aperitif cocktail, which felt like a dream and made us feel as though time had stopped. I'm pleased to say that the cocktails were of the highest quality and very enjoyable. I am eagerly awaiting the opportunity to return, on a smaller scale, so that I can sample more of the menu, along with a few of the drinks. The atmosphere was relaxed yet attentive, and the timing between meals was ideal. We selected this restaurant to reconnect with friends due to its highly regarded reviews. My personal favourites were the sashimi, sushi with its three distinct oyster preparations, fish dishes, and sorbet. Additionally, I was charmed by the welcoming hosts and the tasteful interior and exterior design. Check out the highlighted photos.
