After eight years in Woodend, colenso has moved to 35 High Street, Kyneton. We have changed our offering and hours. We look forward to seeing you at our new location.

We've eaten at Colenso a couple of times now, and each time the meals have been beautifully cooked and full of flavour. They also have a great selection of wine. The restaurant is nice and spacious and the staff are really friendly and helpful.

Disappointing meal. The duck was dry and lacked any real interest. Dessert was bland and unnspiring.

Dropped in at Colenso this afternoon for coffee-tea and cake with my French friend Christine. We both enjoyed the apple tart, and for Christine it was very much the food of la maison. She described it as authentic and generous - no excess sugar, plenty of apple, and a good pastry base... en Francais miam miam!

Food just as wonderful as when in Woodend, but now with an even more inviting space. Highly recommend!
