Story

Pause Bar is a Moroccan inspired oasis in the heart of Carlisle Street, St Kilda. Over the past decade, Pause has built a reputation for a great night out. Pause is a place where locals drop by for a quiet drink, friends catch up over espresso martinis and famous wrong island iced tea or settle in for a night with a quality red and a Casablanca lamb curry. Renowned for its unique beer and wine lists, a classic cocktail menu, spicy bar food (falafel, infused olives and lamb and pine nut flatbreads), laidback staff, and regular live music, there is something about the Pause space that really works. Fantastic little bar in a great part of town! The owner and staff are very welcoming, 10/10 - would recommend to anyone keen on wetting their whistle with some fine beverages! They’ll even let you charge your phone behind the bar if you ask nicely

Noce place with a small outside area at the back and front. Live music too, although the acts are usually a little bit amateurish.
