Scenic stroll away from the hectic rush of traffic. Shady seats. BBQ's. Leash free area for dogs. Serious warning. Dogs have been taken just wading in canal by Bull sharks. Depth drops immediately providing perfect ambush.

Went for the Sunday Music in the Park. Beaut day, lots of families. It's a very family friendly place and is always full. Best park we've found on the Gold Coast. Music was pretty good too. Hope they continue with events like that here.

Friday 23 February - a group of 24 enjoyed lunch - good pub food and at the right price. Service was friendly and excellent. Well worth the visit.

Great area to take little children for a swim in the netted enclosure and to let them play. However public amenities are totally inadequate. No change rooms. Only toilets. Only one shower at far southern end of parkland (as far as I could see). There always is a queue people trying to rinse off their kids. Parking is also very limited. A lot of spaces are taken by patrons of local cafes and restaurants. Parking is restricted to 2 hours.

A beautiful place with different cuisines to dine in beside the beach side. Worth visiting in the late evenings
