Great park for family gatherings & swings for kids.plent of grass to kick the footy & a basketball court too. Couple of bbqs & a boat ramp. Not much beach at high tide. Beware of council driving past taking photos of cars parked with 2 wheels up on footpath you'll get fined. Other than that awesome spot.
Beautiful place, first time meeting up with a social group and it's got great facilities, next to the boat ramp.
The boat ramp itself is easy to use and access. Good location and not far to south Stradbroke island and Tipplers. High tide proves a challenge as there is no beach area at all. So without someone to help you, the boat will end up washing against the wall.nOne side of the boat ramp is rocky the other has sand. Saying that the sand side does get pretty busy over weekends etc.nOverall, it works, and is close enough to get out to the Broadwater. Would be great if it was sand both sides of the ramp and not rocks.
This is a large park bordering the water. Right next to the park is the boat launch. There is bbq and toilet facilities. There are also 2x large picnic covered areas with benches here. Thee is also a half basket ball court with hoop. Dogs welcome on leads. Big shade trees. Don't forget sunblock and caps. This park also has a small swimming beach with bbq and benches. It's 300m from the main park area. There is an Indian restaurant opposite the park.
Nice little hidden gem! Boat ramp with trailer parking, clean amenity block. Two large picnic shelters with tables and BBQ. Plenty of other picnic tables under shady trees. Nice shaded playground area and sandy beach area for fishing or swimming.
