Cozy interior but noisy. The man who looks like the owner is kind and busy staff. Pasta and pizza are all delicious. I really enjoyed the meal. Especially, Ragu is the best!Food: 5/5
Our waiter was friendly and eccentric and the food was delicious! The atmosphere was cosy and warm. Had an unfortunate seat that put me eye level with the headlights of all the cars at the intersection but a fantastic experience regardless :- Vegetarian options: Definitely had a few vegetarian friendly dishes with mushroom and veges
Delicious food, well presented, tasty. Good selection of beverage. Great service, friendly staff. Pane e Vino is prepared to accommodate special diets. Fresh salads, good quality cheese. Giorgio, manager, is very polite and ready to assist you. Clean premises. Clean bathroom.
The food was average. The tiramisu was nice but the chocolate dessert was so-so. No mocktail drinks. Toilet was clean.
A picture of my meal below, $32. For grilled snapper and lots of rocket leaves on top. Just, left the restaurant feeling a little disappointed. Food was below average, the fish was rather dry and bland, there wasn’t any seasoning on it. Personally I won’t be returning.
wow ... fantastic pasta, love it so much. Taste so good so creamy. Pizza so nice. Just a bit long to wait.
We booked here for dinner with First Table so as expected were reminded of the hour limit for dining when we ordered - possibly too because we were hungry and ordered entree and mains We weren’t disappointed. The food arrived in good time and was absolutely delicious. Given the time limit, service was prompt, friendly and excellent. Being seated by the bar also made it easy to ask for more drinks when we needed them too Given the great experience tonight , and having just moved into the area I can see this being a restaurant we’ll dine at again.
Authentic Italian! Excellent. We went for the first time a few weeks ago. We were bummed we hadn't been going since the day they opened. All 4 of us were happy with what we ordered. We ordered take aways the next night it was so good. Pane e Vino is now our favourite Italian restaurant in Auckland.
Really lovely atmosphere with amazing food and an even better waiter! Giorgio was fun and attentive, and the food came out very quickly! The pasta was creamy and flavourful, while the pizza was fluffy and crispy. The bruschetta and tiramisu was absolutely delicious too. Definitely recommend!
Celebrated NYE at Pane e Vino. An already awesome, character old fire station has been transformed into an Italian food heaven. We had a calamari to share. It was crunchy on the outside and fresh and yummy in the inside. It was light and non greasy. A must have as starter. Their pasta are so good. Linguini da Marie was sensational with very fresh and deliciously cooked prawns. Spinach Chicken bake paste was out of this world. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended. Can’t wait to go back to try out different dishes. Top place!
