My favourite Japanese place in New Zealand where I go on a special occasion. Great place for a date or to spend time together with wife. Not suitable for kids really but you definitely don’t want them there. This place is about great food experience. The food not just tastes really great but also looks amazing.

Great food with awesome presentation. The service was great and the food came out in a timely manner. The dumplings tasted great! The slow cooked pork was cooked to perfection. I had the Ume jelly for a drink, very interesting and perfect. Price wise it is on the expensive side but worth every cent.

Pretty interesting and unique. Worth going to with a large wallet that's experience as much as you can. Avocado in a cocktail. All I'm saying.

What a fantastic food experience. From the mood lighting to the great decor it all ties in together. 4 people eating.Food wise we ordered about 10 dishes, each one was a delight to the senses. The tostada was so light and crisp. All the other dishes were great as well. Cost about $80 per person included bottle wine and 4 cocktails. + 2 deserts

Wow. I feel like this meal was a guided tour of my own mouth! My tastebuds were treated to a roller coaster of tastes and textures all the way through. Highly recommend the pork belly main and the soft crab bun. The coriander and jalapeño margarita (I think only available in March) was a definite highlight too. Attentive, friendly service, wonderful ambience and overall a wonderful experience.
