Apart from the entrance through the kitchen I still had positive expectations. The food here has been tailored for kiwi style, not an authentic Indian cuisine. I'm highly disappointed, never again going there. I could hardly take a few bites, from the taste I could say its mostly ready made food in bulk than prepared for individual orders. People might like it but please don't call it South Indian food.

An excellent place to enjoy the Indian food and Indian cultural heritage. The interior is made in such a way that gives you the feeling of being in India. The food is awesome and staff is very friendly. Very Busy on weekends. Fantastic place for family and big group dinner plans. They give complimentary sweets if your celebrating birthday or anniversary here. 😇👌

Good people, had to equally split the bill. Not recommended for student byo. Good food though, try closing your eyes for maximum experience

I absolutely love this place. It has such a great array of dishes that are great for sharing. There are so many to try it is great for groups. The staff are lovely. And they are very good at adapting dishes to meet dietary needs. They have a great selection of seriously yummy vegan and vegetarian dishes. The owners are two of the nicest people I have ever met. They provide a free community meal on Christmas Day at every Satya in Auckland. A kind act they have been undertaking for many years now. Many have benefitted from their hospitality. I can't recommend this place and it's good people highly enough.
