One of the best Café’s in Port Douglas....... quality breakfast and lunches or that quick coffee and cakes/snacks. Their coffees are one of the best in the area. Indoor and outdoor seating combined with friendly staff and ambience!! Just off the popular strip in Port Douglas, with heaps of parking and seating. Highly recommended.
The savoury food wasn't too bad, neither was the coffee....but our cake and brownie afterwards weren't great at all. It's very unusual for me not to finish something sweet - but i couldn't! Good that Gluten Free is well labelled...but prices aren't, and I wasn't a little surprised at the cost of the savoury food.
Amazing, fresh ingredients and nice staff. Very good breakfasts. They are open for dinner twice a week and it's incredible home cooked food. But they fall into a common aussie trap - sugar on everything, and it kills the subtle flavors underneath. I asked for smashed avo without balsamic for that very reason, so they decided to bathe it in a cherry reduction instead. Tasted like a dessert.
Pretty good food and great deli selection. Would rate it 5 stars if it wasn't for one of the owners yelling on the phone with what seemed yo be a supplier and blowing her nose in a disgusting, super loud way while we were trying to decide our orders go to the office next time. We sat outside but could still hear and see her the whole time.
Pretty decent coffee and friendly local service. Not very touristy that's a compliment. Good range of sweet stuff and some deli items. Service is fast and there is a little bit of outside seating. Good spot to catch up with the local papers.
Some tasty looking food, staff are friendly but a bit awkward around the owner. They add a .30c charge on to card payments which I believe is not only unnecessary, unenforceable but also not allowed. The locals seem to like it and there are pantry and fridge essentials you can pick up.
Average coffee and the food is ok but I will not go there again based on the terrible service I received on the 3 occasions I visited this cafe. The grumpy man making coffees was rude and dismissive and the lady taking orders also lacked any people skills. Much better off driving the extra couple of minutes into town for great coffee and service!
Nice coffee and a local feel about it. Didn't have any food but it looked like everything was freshly made. There is a surcharge for card but only if you spend less than $10.
Must stop for foodies. Deli and more Genuine local ingredients, run by a Port Douglas legend. Wholesome, great for stocking up your apartment for the week with amazing food that tastes like home. Lizzie legendary lazy dinners on Wednesday and Saturday sound like worth checking out but we never had time...
Amazing food, everything is so fresh. Love to get a home made gourmet meat pie, best in Port Douglas. The chicken snitzel burger made with fresh chicken, mixed slaw and tastey sauces is JUCY and will fill you up. Definitely worth the stopping in when on the way to town.
