Wonderful location by the big pool, slightly dated interior. Staff were amazing and prompt, constant drink refills, knowledgeable of menu & specials. Scallops & octopus entree were delicious. Pork loin main was massive, husband couldn't get through it all should've been a "to share" option. I had the Jerusalem artichoke main which was also yum. We shared the choc pudding with malt ice cream - best ice cream I've eaten. A bit pricey but overall a great evening with friendly staff.
This place deserves a 5 stars I really don’t understand why 3,9 stars !! Amazing experience, great service & the food was wonderful & tasty. The price is justified with the quality. If you are looking for a good restaurant in Port Douglas, go there without hesitation.
Highly recommend dinner at this fantastic establishment if you’re in the Port Douglas area. We called up Harrison’s and were lucky enough to get a reservation on the same day for a group of 6. Staff were very friendly and gave some great dish recommendations - we definitely recommend trying the scallops and chocolate pudding.
It is disappointing to see this restaurant with 3.9 stars from what seems like old, low scoring reviews. The food was fresh, intelligent, brought out on perfect timing by the lovely staff, the drinks menu was accommodating, with original and favourite cocktails to chose from.
An excellent dining experience with a balanced wine list offering selections by the glass and bottle that won't break the bank! Food is excellent, check for specials and market offerings. Some of the wine options were unavailable or had changed vintages - so ask.
Nice in hotel dining experience. Same price as less impressive local Prt douglas restaurants. Better quality. Could do with more vegetarian options.
Myself and my partner had a dinner here and I’m really surprised it only has 3.9 stars at the time we booked. The food was really special and flavours very thoughtfully put together, we had 3 seafood dishes and a vegetarian dish then a chocolate dessert to share. Lovely setting, very experienced staff and whilst it is expensive, I think it’s reasonable for such good food and service. Gaston served us and he was absolutely wonderful, he gave such a high level of service and was really kind and friendly.
We had an excellent time at dinner. The quality of food, the wine list, the service and the atmosphere was wonderful. The servings are HUGE and the menu was on point. Loved the whole experience. Will return!
Spencer Patrick and Harrison's is the best restaurant in Port Douglas. While the location is a little out of town unless you're staying at the Mirage - it is definitely worth the trip. Have been coming to Port Douglas for more than a decade and been eating at Patrick's many restaurants during that time, and having been back in September 2022 - it is better than ever. I highly recommend the chocolate pudding and the steak to share which are fabulous. The quality of the food and presentation is unmatched in Port Douglas.
We chose this restaurant for a special dinner out and we were not disappointed. Every course was delicious and they were impeccably presented. The atmosphere outside near the pools was wonderful too. And given our son's name is Harrison, great name! Highly recommended.
