Story

Origin Espresso is a locally owned espresso bar/ cafe. We source, roast and brew coffee that we love to drink ourselves.

Origin Espresso has THREE amazing locations where you can sit and enjoy our coffee and locally made cakes and treats. See below for further details on all three locations!

Good place for a regular coffee. As a tourist i felt lost. I could not find a menu. By 10am the cake section was bare. Lots of mothers clubs here, so good place to meet. Pet friendly was a plus.

BEST coffee in PD!!! Would highly recommend, if your staying in town. I went with a group of people and everyone was impressed. There’s heap of seating out the front too which was good. Their green juice was also a highlight. Thank you for a great experience - I’ll definitely be back.
If your going anywhere for coffee in Port Douglas this is the only cafe worth visiting. Purely because of the super high quality service, food and most importantly coffee beans. Locally roasted and absolutely delicious. Serving a blend and single origin which is always a good sign. Go give them some support. You wont regret it.
I'm from Melbourne and fussy about coffee. I was determined to find the best coffee in Port Douglas but didn't get much further than this place. No fuss, excellent coffee with a pleasent place to sit outside. Get there early for pastries, coffee highly recommend.
I’m a Cairns local and stayed in port for the Christmas new year so have a few favs but after doing the rounds, and there are very good coffee places in Port, this cafe takes the cake! And such lovely people, care of kids and dogs and humans alike besides good coffee!
Port Douglas offers many delicious cafes, but this one is my all time favourite! Super friendly owners, sweet location and just really good coffee! They also sell their home roasted organic coffee beans, so you can enjoy their tasty coffee at home as well!
If you're looking for coffee in Port Douglas, do not go anywhere else! Have the most sublime and perfectly frothed cup of coffee here at this cafe. Pair it with a couple of naughty extremely delicious donuts on the side and your day is made. What a winner. Can't wait to go back!
Amazing coffee. I drink decaf, and a lot of it, and this is the best I have drunk anywhere. Great service too.
Neo and Lucy do an amazing job Always a happy vibe at Origin , not to mention the best coffee and chai in port Douglas . Do yourself a treat and head on in and say hello you will not be disappointed
