Paddy's Port Douglas

Great food. Love the Lamb shanks. Good atmosphere, a little loud when full but what Irish bar isn't. Lots of seating inside and on the deck, two pool table, a large tv to watch events, bands on some nights. Happy hour 4-5 & 9-10 every day. Book or walk in your choice. Disability friendly with ramp at the side. In all a great feed in a relaxed atmosphere.

This is a good place to visit either for a few beers or something to eat. Good atmosphere you can sit and people watch

Went there Tuesday night for dinner. The place is old, tired, dirty and sticky. They got my partners order wrong, it was missing a side and they couldn't do anything as the kitchen had closed fair enough however 2 of the 4 meals we got were poor. I had calamari, definitely packet frozen and made me sick, it was horrible to eat and came back out about 2 hours later once back at the hotel. My friend had a schnitzel that was char black and she said the side of gravy tasted like dirty dishwater. I would not recommend this venue to anyone for food or if you want to attend a clean nice place....this is not for you. Go home and have cheese on toast If Paddy's is your last option.

Great feed, quick service and a good atmosphere. No live music on the midweek night we were there and would have liked a bit of recorded trad.music but otherwise a great night. Def book a table because even mid week it's very busy.

Went around 5pm on a Friday and got a table for 5 fine. Food was great and prices were fair. Staff were really friendly, the Irish Pub decor was nice, and it was cool inside mid-September. Order from the window. Had Fish and Chips with mushy peas, chicken burger, chicken schnitzel with gravy, and kids meals no drink or dessert. All were of a good size. Pint of Guinness was what I was after and it did not disappoint. Might get noisy after but 5 was a great time to go with kids.

A lovely pub. Provided awesome Irish pub grub and always had a band to keep the atmosphere going. Not to mention the remarkably quick waiting times during the peak. Fantastic joint.

Ate here 2 weeks ago because we couldn't find anywhere else available. Big mistake. Had the saltnpepper calamari. One word "ridiculous". Tiny little pieces of not sure what. It was like they scraped the dreggs out of the bottom of the deep fryer. Wish I took a photo, but absolutely nothing like the photo by Sandra in the review below. Great place for a drink..food, not so much

Came to this place as it had good reviews compared to other restaurants in Port Douglas, sadly it was very disappointing, booked 2 weeks in advance, on the advice of the person I spoke to at the restaurant. Our table wasn't really a table, it was small coffee tables pushed together and we sat on ottermans. When we ordered our food, we expected a wait of about 30 minutes, which was fine due to been busy, that turned into an hour and only after I complained to the waitress to why the table next to me got their food first, even though we had been there 20 minutes before them. Once the food finally arrived, we received a burnt meal completely burnt, which seemed to be acceptable to the chef, I don't understand what they were thinking to pass that off as food. Thankfully the service manager replaced our meal, which only took less than 5 minutes to cook to send out.

Cute little place with modern food. Happened to pop in on a Wednesday which was $12 parma night can't go wro ng. Also tried the beef and guiness pie very tasty. Service was lovely food atmosphere with cold drinksFood: 5/5

Sunday dinner this is the place to go! Fantastic meal for the money, got the roast with veggies, potato mash and Guinness of course! Best pub I have been in during my stay here in Port Douglas. Friendly helpful staff with good recommendations. Live music most nights brings in the crowd, no wonder this place is often packed. Highly recommend for any occasion, from family dinner to date night.
