One of the  best attractions in Dunedin. Definitely worth a visit. We attended the Permian Monsters exhibit, which was pretty cool. Loved the animal attic and the Butterfly House. Will definitely visit again!

Brill free entry. Air conditioned.  Well laid out and INTERESTING!  Great cafe attached. Need to log out a full day of your holiday at least. Possibly the best museum I've ever been in.

Very expensive but tasty pies! The kids and I love it. A very good mix of displays both static and interactive. Highly recommended especially on a day when the weather isn't too flash

Awesome place. Took the kids to the new discovery world there and it blew their minds.  Has an amazing dna slide which is even fun for an adult. Butterflies are back and amazing also. The whole museum is a cool place for the whole family.
