This is a beautiful asset to the city! It's not every day that you get to see inside one of Dunedin's historic homes, especially one that hasn't been turned into student flats! The quality of the preservation exceeds many National Trust homes in Britain. Plus, the tour guides have some great info to pass on regards its and local history. Also worth looking out for the occasional event that's hosted there, like the annual Olveston afternoon tea.

Wonderful place. Great tour and informative staff. Good for learning about the history of new Zealand and Dunedin, and also good just if you like old houses and pictures. Be sure to spend some time going around the outside of the house after the tour. Would go again.

Very amazing collection of antiques and artworks. Very informative guide and friendly staff. Too much to admire for sure. Time passed by unnoticeably. A true treasure to New Zealand

Absolutely love this amazing mansion! The tourguides bring the house alive during the guided tour. Well worth a visit. Well appointed, beautiful small gift shop, clean toilets, amazing garden. Tops!!!
