Absolutely an outstanding tour, definitely not to be missed if you want to see up close sea lions, yellow eyed penguins, and a great variety of sea birds native to this area. Our guide Sean had a remarkable eye and wildlife wisdom for being able to spot what many would hàve missed. The company is also very active in restoring habitat for the endangered yellow penguins and well worth supporting.

Thanks for this great tour! It was a perfect afternoon even though it was raining a bit. We saw penguines, sealions, albatrosses and fur seals and came really close. The Guides, Warren and Donna, were really nice and answered all our questions. PS: I forgot my hat in the bus and Warren brought it to our campervan. Thank you soo much! I really did not expect this! It was so great meeting you!

The tour was fantastic, taking you to exclusive parts of the the island inaccessible to the public. Fur seals, sea lions and yellow eyed penguins guaranteed! Good value for money. I must add...take snacks and make sure you use the bathroom before you leave. Some of the tour money goes towards local farmers and conservation which is vital in the survival of the Penguins. Also if you don't like walking and/or steep climbs then it's probably not for you. The team do their best to create safe foot paths however. I'm a fit and healthy 28 year old man who enjoys a walk and a climb but found it to be quite tough. I must say again that it was thoroughly worth the effort and the money. Overall fantastic once in a lifetime experience!

This was an amazing tour! You get to go to places you can't go alone, and some of the money for the tour goes to conservation of the animals and nature, which is great! On my tour I took the extra option of going to the royal albatross center which is great, I got to see a lot of albatross chicks in their nests, and I got a lot of information. On the trip you also visit New Zealand fur seals and I got to see the pups play in the rock pools. The tour concluded with the yellow eyed penguin viewing and we saw at least nine of them, really close to where we were standing. On the beach there's also a lot of sea lions. Would highly recommend this tour!
