This is where you see nature and wildlife in its truest form. My wife and I went and had an amazing time. Probably one of the best things we did while in NZ. We count our selves so lucky to have seen the things we did. What Perry and his family have accomplished here is beyond words. Perry was so personable and funny, who doesn’t like a good pun? 5+ stars

Obviously it's all about making money and not being honest to the public. We arrived and spoke to a guy who was already stood speaking to two females. He asked how he could help and my husband asked 'do we need to book a tour and how much is it?' he totally ignored the questions and stated '.. Look I'll tell you how it is, you will NOT see any wildlife on the public beaches without paying a cost..' to which my husband stated 'oh right, we've just seen a group of seals on the beach down from here' the bloke retorted 'no you didn't!' ... Basically calling my husband a liar. Obviously didn't like the fact we'd rumbled his up selling, especially in front of the other customers. He was quite rude, my husband and I basically told him yes we did see some seals and find it strange you'd call a possible customer a liar. We then promptly left.

Riding in the 8-wheeler ATV was the highlight, as it easily climbed rocky and channeled inclines which could flip a lesser vehicle. The place has put a lot of effort into conservation. We saw dewy-eyed seals, and got so close to penguins in their nest I learned what sound they make when they evacuate their bowels (a high-pitched squirt). Our guide was a friendly and knowledgeable Kiwi bloke who strayed into puns at one point, but was smart enough to veer away when my wife gave a heartfelt groan about his “no ewe-turn” joke

I had such a horrible experience that ruined the rest of my holiday with my family in NZ. The co owner Tracey was rude and refused to serve me because I called their 0800 number after hours. Perry the other owner was amazing though, he took us on the tour regardless and I thank him for that.

For sure this place is not about conservation or preservation, but just about making money! You are only allowed to see Naturs Wonders by car .. Walking prohibited!  I think this stands for itself.. As I was not welcome in Naturs Wonderland I had lunch and booked a Tour at Royal Albatros Center ! Staff there was very nice !
