Great place to find nature and your inner self. You have the chance to see north Canberra and the hills around it. Peaceful, quiet, relaxing.

Easy to moderate walk up. About 1 hour to hike up from Hall starting point (Corner of Hall St and Hoskins St) or 2 hours less up and back. It’s also an easy trail to mountain bike with a moderate or steep incline at the end. It’s a 4km run up, 8km back gives a good little workout to the legs near the end. You can see Gungahlin and a bit of Belconnen too. Also a view of the new suburb Taylor. It’s quite possible to start in Taylor instead of Hall to cut short the time. Consider bringing water, a picnic or snack, a jacket if there’s a breeze, sunglasses and there’s no toilets along the way.

Beautiful walk lovely scenery not to difficult at first but near the end there are steep steps. At the top there is a clearing and a bench seat with lovely views. Takes about 2 hours on a medium walk from the car park (side of road) to the top and back. Be mindful there are no toilets in this area.

Fairly easy walk from here to the look out which was really nice views.
