An enjoyable walk, leading from the back of the War Memorial to the top of Mt Ainslie.  Steep in parts, with steps ruling out prams and wheelchairs, it is tough enough to get the heart pumping, and short enough to be done in under an hour if you press on. There are a number of informational plaques and signs, some about the Kokoda Track and some about the natural aspects of the park. Great views along the way as you get higher, with a view down Anzac Parade to parliament house.

Great walking track. Plenty of wild life to see. There's a canteen at the top. Bring a water bottle though. Not pram friendly. You can bring a dog on a leash. Plenty of photography areas. The top is One of the best viewing platforms for Canberra. I must do if you visit Canberra.

Love this hike, and aim to do it at least once a week. Just the right amount of challenge, with amazing views of Canberra as the perfect reward at the end

Views at the top is definitely worth it, walk is recommended for those with moderate fitness levels and above and bring hat, sunscreen and water on sunny days
