Long beginner friendly mountain track. It is the longest track of the Inner Canberra mountains. About an hour to the top without breaks. There are multiple track choices including a loop. Dirt track mainly mixed with stone stairs and is well looked after and wide. From the top of the walking track the four wheel drive track takes you to the actual peak.

Beautiful scenery. Great place for a trail run or a casual walk.

Always enjoy walk up mount Maura. Track has been upgraded in the last few years.

It's long. Longer than Black Mountain ACT or the Kokoda trail in Dandenongs. But great exercise. Terrific view and most important - quiet!

The Majura reserve has some really good walking trails that suit a diverse range of capabilities from gentle, well maintained paths that skirt around the Mountain to rugged tracks up steep slopes. It has some gorgeous remnant eucalyptus forest including a stand of snow gums. Go and catch the sunset or sunrise from the summit. Watch out for the sugar gliders and echidna
